David Grimes

David Grimes’ roots run deep in Conway.  A Conway native, he graduated from Conway High School and received both a Bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas (Conway).  He is also a graduate of the Faulkner County Leadership Institute and was presented their annual Dan Nabholz Leadership Award in 2008.

In addition to  his  current position as CFO of American Management Corporation, he also serves on the Conway City Council, is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Conway, is the Treasurer of the UCA Foundation board of directors, is  the President of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame board of directors, and finds time to serve on the Blackbird Academy of Arts, Inc. board of directors as well.  He is also a past board President of the UCA Alumni Association and  the United Way of Faulkner County.

In 2002, Arkansas Business  publishing named him to their annual “40 Under Forty “ list of young business/political leaders in the state.

He is married to Laura Grimes, formerly of Springdale, AR , and has 3 children , one of whom is a student of Blackbird Academy of Arts, Inc.
