Rehearsal and Performance

Breakdown

 

Friday, April 27th

Set Up – 8:00-3:00

Set run through with Michael – 3:00-4:00

Backstage Hands – Junia, Olivia, Allyson, Tara, Todd, Mary Dean, Kelly, Maria, Bo

Cast Sign in – 4:00 – Parents will sign in cast members in the Staples theatre front lobby. This will be a closed rehearsal. Parents will pick up cast members at 8:00pm

Tech rehearsal begins at 4:30 (no costumes)

Cast members are allowed to bring water bottles with water ONLY and healthy snacks. This rehearsal is a tech rehearsal which means we will be stoping and starting to allow for lighting, sound, entrances. Exits and set placement. Please make sure your child has things to keep them busy. Such as; books, iPods, only with headphones, coloring books, quiet games. We will have backstage moms to attend to the younger children.

 

Please make sure cast members wear appropriate dance attire for this rehearsal, leotard tights, ballet slippers, pointe shoes. Hair should be in a neat bun. They may wear cover ups in case the theatre is cold.

 

Saturday, April 28th – Full Dress Rehearsal

Cast Sign in – 8:00am

Costumes, Hair and Make-up – 8:30-10:00

Dress Rehearsal – 10:00-12:00 – Our goal is to get through 2 run throughs of the performance.

Parent Pick Up – 12:00pm

Cast members need to come with hair and make-up done. A list of items each cast member is responsible for bringing with them will be provided. *See attachment

Please make sure your child has a good breakfast to get them through until lunch. No food will be allowed back stage during this rehearsal as costumes will be worn. Cast members are allowed water bottles with water ONLY. If any child has a medical condition that requires them to have periodic snacks please let me know.

Saturday, April 28th – Performance

Cast Sign In – 5:00pm

Hair and Make-up – 5:15-6:15

Cast warm up – 6:15-6:30

Costumes – 6:30

Curtain – 7:00

 

Sunday April 29th – Matinee Performance

Cast Sign in – 12:00

Hair and Make-up – 12:15-1:15

Cast Warm up – 1:15-1:30

Costumes – 1:30

Curtain – 2:00

 

Cast members who are assisting with character hair and make-up, please arrive before the cast sign in to get yourself ready first.
